Emily passed away on April 13, 2006; a month before her birthday, May 16; and a month before graduating from the 8th grade at St. Dominic School. She was registered to begin school at Mercy High School in the Fall 2006.

Emily was planning a Black and Blue party for her combination birthday/graduation party. Black represented her grade school, the school colors are Black and White. Blue represented her high school, the school colors are Blue and White.

We have decided to celebrate Emily's life of love and laughter every year near her birthday with a Black and Blue party. Friends and family will surround us and join us in fun, food, laughter, and love; enjoying life's good times.
